Team from Ministry of Local government under (REAP) visit Buhweju

The ministry of local government under the resource management and accountability program(REAP), is carrying out a technical support seminar on procurement in Buhweju District to discuss and address issues as reported in the PPDA performance report for the financial year ended 30th June 2022. The main objective of this activity is to enhance integrity and value for money of local government procurements in bid to address the weaknesses in local government systems and processes. the seminar was facilitated by officials from the ministry of local government and public procurement and disposal of public assets Authority(PPDA). in Attendance were; the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Buhweju District, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Buhweju District, as well as all heads of departments and sector leaders.
